Defence, Security and Sustainability (DSS) is a biennial event organised by Centre for Research Innovation Management under the Deputy Vice Chansellor (Research and Innovation) Office, UPNM which provide a platform for researchers to present and showcase their research works espesially,but not limited to, in the defence and security field.

DSS2024 is held for the fifth time to gather all academics, industrial practitioners, researchers, student and administrators to exchange ideas, information and findings. The theme of DSS 2024 is “Human-Centered Discovery and Innovation”. In addition, this event also provides a platform to strengthen the relationship in sharing our research findings with the research community.
